DAYS 1-2

Tirana – Offroad Journey to Dardhe village

Day 1:

Begin your journey from Tirana to Gramsh, initially on asphalt roads. Then, traverse off-road to Sotira Waterfall and Dardhe village. Take a hike at the waterfall and continue to Dardhe for accommodation at Guest House Qafe Dardha.

 

Day 2:

From Qafe Dardhe, embark on an off-road drive to Berat through the scenic Tomorr National Park. Stop for lunch at Pupa Winery en route. Accommodation at Oda e Tomorrit or similar, with an optional evening cooking class.

  • Hiking Sotira waterfall will take approx 1 hour
  • Offroad journey from Gramsh to Dardhe approx. 2 Hour
  • Visit the city of Gramsh and stop by the Lake
  • In Dardhe village you will sleep in a local guest house and they serve meals

DAYS 3-5

Berat – Permet -Gjirokaster

Day 3:

Drive from Berat to Osum Canyon and then to Permet, enjoying off-road sections. Explore the canyon and take time for a swim before continuing to Permet for accommodation at Dimitri Guest House.

Day 4:

Enjoy Permet by visiting the natural springs or driving to Peshtan or Leuse village for lunch at Mira Guest House.

Day 5:

Depart from Permet to Gjirokaster, with an optional morning rafting activity. Sleep at Hotel Kalemi or similar in Gjirokaster.

  • Berat to Permet approx 4 hour drive
  • Swim in Osum canyon and Hike Around
  • In Permet enjoy the hot springs – and take a hike in Leuse village. Have lunch at Mira guest house in Peshtan
  • Opportunity for an Optional rafting tour
  • Visit Gjirokastra old town

DAYS 6-8

Gjirokaster – Nivice – Pilur – Himare – Gjipe – Vlore

Day 6:

Drive from Gjirokaster to Nivica, then to Kuc and Piliur, a village with stunning views of the Ionian Sea. Overnight in Himara.

Day 7:

Visit Gjipe Beach, accessible by hiking, for a relaxing swim before driving to Vlora in the evening. Accommodation at Hotel Noar.

Day 8:

Head back to Tirana from Vlora via Zvernec Island and Karavasta Lagoon, concluding your adventurous journey.

  • Day 6 – Visit the Nivica canyon and take a hike to Peshtura Waterfall
  • Road is asphalted but narrow.
  • From Nivica to Pilur – asphalt very narrow
  • Pilur uphill semi offroad
  • Day  7 Driving to Gjipe is a short distance. The hike to Gjipe is approx 40 minutes
  • Driving to Vlora via Llogara pass approx 2 hours
  • Day 8 – On the way to Tirana opportunity to visit Zvernes island – Karavasta Lagoon
